Planning for the International Day is already in progress. The project on the International Day will see each class talking on country to learn about its culture, tradition, clothing, education system, games and food. More details on the International Day will follow later.

Parents' Day
Appointment letters have already been sent out on Monday, 8 May 2006 (with the exception of Kg 5L). It is important for you as parents to meet your childen's teachers to discuss about their progress.

School Office
The school office is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday during the school holidays.

The standard procedure of the school is that only authorized persons (parents, grandparents, drivers, etc) are allowed to fetch the children. Should there be any change in that the authorized persons are unable to fetch the children, the school should be informed. Please inform the respective class teacher or Mrs. Chang.

The main gates and the glass door for school 1 (SL 7/17) will be closed at 8.15 a.m. everyday. All children are encouraged to be in school by 8.00 a.m. latest by 8.15 a.m.
As for
School 2 (SL 4/3), the main gates and door will be closed at 8.45 a.m. We strongly encourage all parents to bring their children to school by 8.30 a.m. latest by 8.45 a.m.

For security reasons, please keep doors closed at all times to avoid any untoward incidents. Your cooperation in the above matters will be much appreciated.

I would like to draw your attention to the following:

Traffic Flow System (Jalan SL 7/17)

I would like to request that all parents who are driving
to turn left after dropping or picking your child / children as you exit from the school. This will help to ease the traffic flow and minimise the traffic congestion in front of the school and along Jalan SL 7/17.
Kindly display your child's name (flashcard) on the car's windscreen when picking your child up after school
.

Traffic Flow System (Jalan SL 4/3)
Parents who are driving are encouraged to turn left after dropping or picking up your child / children as you exit from the school. This will again help to ease the traffic congestion in front of the school and along Jalan SL 4/3.
There is no school which, does not suffer from traffic songestion of some kind. Nonetheless,
we need to be extra careful and patient when dropping off and picking up the children.
Kindly display your child's name (flashcard) on the car's windscreen when picking your child up after school.

Being in school for the first time can be an exciting and sometimes fearful time for a child get to the classroom, reassure him / her that someone will fetch him / her as soon as school is over and then leave immediately. Please be on time to fetch your child. Your child needs to realize that it is his or her duty to come to school every day and that someone will help him or her to become more independent and will help provide happier adjustment to school.
